This is the quintessential countryside English pub. As an American visiting the UK, this was the highlight of our whole trip. Stewart the pub owner is beyond helpful. They know all the local sights, histories, and legends. The food is great, the beer is fresh, and the rooms are surprisingly modern and cozy.

Breakfast was delicious! The dinner was great and so was the staff! Accomodations were great. The hostess helped us with some questions and spared time out of her busy day which we really appreciated. Thumbs up!
