The location is excellent. You walk out of the metro exit number 2 and there is the hotel, right in front of you. If you do not have much luggage, you can walk to departure along a well marked path in 3 minutes from the hotel. They also provide a shuttle, but not needed if you are light on luggage.
Standard of room and facilities, well maintained and sparkling.
We spent a night between flights. We arrived late and wanted something nearby which we could walk into. Next morning, left luggage in the hotel and took the metro into the centre to spend a few hours before returning to catch our late evening flight. For our itinerary this was the perfect choice.

The city of Istanbul offers a trip unlike any other, encompassing Asian and European cultures to create a heady mix of art, music and food. The amazing Old Town and the Sultanahmet are home to iconic Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia. More history is hidden in the Topkapi Palace, where you can glimpse the splendour and opulence of Turkey’s Ottoman heritage.
Take a stroll through the historic centre or the bustling Taksim Square before watching the sun set behind countless mosques and minarets. Local fish markets and numerous restaurants lining the bridge to Galata offer the Golden Horn’s daily catch.
If you prefer the fine art of bargaining to fine art, lose yourself in the Grand Bazar and maybe you’ll emerge with a hookah, some Turkish coffee, or even a carpet. The Spice Bazar further immerses you in the sights, smells, and tastes of Turkish culture.

Istanbul is HUGE with lots of different areas.
Istanbul is HUGE with lots of different areas. Plenty of good walks. Food is a bit one dimensional and it is not a cheap destination. Ive been before so I swerved the mosques, but I would suggest going in autumn or early spring to avoid the heat and crowds at all the sights. The monuments are exhausting, huge and expensive so choose wisely. Do not fall for any perfume scams on the street - they are all toxic fakes. Galata area has heaps of fun restaurants and bars but the steep streets may be difficult for some.

To be honest with you; the only thing I liked about Istanbul...
To be honest with you; the only thing I liked about Istanbul are the old mosques and the food. Moreover, locals were short tempered and not that friendly and you barely see smiles.
Using Taxis was an awful experience even through Uber
Lots of smoking and even taxis drivers smoke while driving you via Uber!
Tourist attractions are chaos and even when you pay online to skip the line, you will need to stand in long ques for security!

A Week of Wonders in Istanbul
A Week of Wonders in Istanbul
My recent week-long trip to Istanbul was nothing short of magical. This city, where East meets West, is a vibrant tapestry of history, culture, and natural beauty.
From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by Istanbul's unique charm. The city's skyline, punctuated by the towering minarets of **Sultanahmet Mosque** and the majestic dome of **Hagia Sophia**, is a sight to behold. Both these landmarks, rich in history and architectural grandeur, were the first stops on my itinerary. The intricate mosaics of Hagia Sophia and the serene ambiance of the Blue Mosque left me in awe.
Next, I visited the **Topkapi Palace**, a testament to the opulence of the Ottoman Empire. Wandering through its lavish courtyards and gazing at the priceless artifacts was like stepping back in time.
A trip to Istanbul would be incomplete without a visit to the **Grand Bazaar**. The bustling market, with its myriad of shops selling everything from spices to carpets, was a sensory overload. The vibrant colors, the aroma of spices, and the hum of bargaining - it was an experience in itself.
The **Bosphorus Cruise** was another highlight of my trip. The cruise offered stunning views of the city's skyline and the strait that separates Europe and Asia. Watching the sunset over the Bosphorus was a sight I will cherish forever.
Despite the packed itinerary, I made sure to take out time for leisurely strolls in the city's many parks and enjoy the local cuisine. The **Turkish tea** and **baklava** are a must-try!
In conclusion, my week in Istanbul was a delightful blend of history, culture, and culinary exploration. The city's major tourist attractions are not just sites; they are experiences that transport you to a different era. Istanbul, with its warm hospitality and timeless charm, has left an indelible mark on my heart. I can't wait to return!

We did not expect that Istambul would have so many attractions and that they are all so fantastic. Excellently organized city, but staying less than 7 days makes no sense. Extremly friendly residents and ubiquitous turist police that made us feel safe,
Great hotel, located within 10seconds walk of Taksim square and Istiklal street, where you will find all the cafes, restaurants, shops etc.The hotel is nicely furnished and the staff are amazing.Very good breakfast on rooftop restaurant. Although all the main sites are not close they are easily within walking distance . we never used a bus or tram or taxi to get around. Best to stay in this area and visit Sultanahmet( the historical area) during the day. Will definitely stay here again when in Istanbul again
The royal bosphorus hotel has the perfect location in Istanbul, at 10 minutes from Hagia Sophia, Sultanahmet, Topkapi Palace... and the prices are really cheap.
And the services from the employees are amazing. Special thanks to Fatih who has been amazing, helping us to contact hospitals to get tested in this specific context of covid 19. Always smiling and ready to help you, what a team !
Your service was awesome guys!
Services :, food, airport transfer (35€), breakfast(5€), ironing,covid test (25€)
The location is best. Walking distance to isktaklal street, taksim square, galata tower, bus station and taxi stand is very near. Most ideal location to stay for tourist. Room was small but clean and fine for a couple. The guy on reception, Tainur was very friendly, cooperative, nice and knows perfect english. Not just help in hotel related stuff but also helped in every aspect such as day tours, taxi, restaurant recommendations & istanbul travel tips. Goes extra mile to fulfill customer needs.
Ramada Plaza is a good option for istanbul travelers,
we had a good stay its away from chaos yet near from taksim square for around 20 mints walk and from nasintasi as well, the good part is Mcdonalds in the hotel. some little things were missing in the room like shoe cleaner, loofah , toothbrush & the AC needs to be renewed. but all in all our stay was great , good and friendly staff. special thanks to Eyupcan for his great welcoming. I Recommend this Hotel 👍🏼
A great little hotel in Sultanahmet within 5 minutes walk Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque.
The hospitality of the staff is excellent, very friendly and attentive. They are happy to book your airport transfers and help with suggestions and bookings. Breakfast is excellent - a good selection of continental/Turkish style buffet, with a selection of cooked options. Would definitely stay again if we return to Istanbul.
This hotel is one of the best we've stayed in Istanbul! The breakfast is great with variety of cheeses, vegetables, breads, cakes etc. The rooms are big and spacey. They provide you with bottles of water (every day), give you complimentary tee and coffee, small toothpaste and toothbrush. The staff is very kind. The location of the hotel is perfect, very close to Taksim square. Overall, it exceeded our expectations! :)
Very polite staff and very helpful starting from front desk to housekeeping. Ahmed, Anwar and Sanaa very friendly staff. Very tiny room but clean. If you wanna sleep in Istanbul then do reserve this hotel. You find any area quieter than this. Loved the hotel and staff. Near taksim square. Everything are nearby you don't need to worry about anything. Definitely I suggest the hotel and 100% comeback to it.
I have stayed at several 5 star hotels in Istanbul and paid about 3 times the amount than this hotel. However, this was actually the best decision I made. It was so worth the value and more. From the location to the staff to the hotel itself absolutely impeccable. Loved it! Highly recommended. You can't possibly go wrong with this hotel. Can't wait to come back.
Ahmed, worker in this hotel is the best guy I have met in Istanbul. If you need tickets or any favour, Ahmed is capable to do it for you all in one place. Highly satisfied with stay at this Hotel. I consider this as 5 star hotel instead of 3 star. Cleanliness outstanding, tasty breakfast, polite and helpful behavior of hotel staff. 10 stars out of 10.
I can only highly recommend this place: spatious room, great location for those who want to stay in Sultanahmet, and the amazing host Ali (hotel owner). Mr. Ali was the best host I have ever met with good suggestions and tips for things to do in Istanbul. He also organized a taxi for me from the hotel to the airport when I was leaving.
I definitely recommend this hotel. It is very well positioned, about 5 minutes walk from Taksim square. The rooms are large, cleaning is done every day. The breakfast was very good. The gentlemen at the reception are extremely kind and help you with anything you need. Of all the hotels I stayed at in Istanbul, this is by far the best.
Best hotel ever in Istanbul. Perfect location which near to Taksim Square, eateries, and public transport. Easy to go anywhere. Not hard to find the hotel. Clean hotel, good breakfast, spacious room and very comfortable. Nice and helpful staffs. Sure will stay here again if I come to Istanbul again. Totally satisfied 👍👍👍👍👍
It's an amazing hotel !
Great value for money. The location is very good, it's very close to Taksim square 2 minutes only and the tram stop and metro station.
team are super friendly and helpful especially Ms.Naema and Mr.Abde .
The breakfast is good and multi.
I will definitely stay here again for my next trip in Istanbul.
I enjoyed my two days at this hotel. The location is great. Despite being close to Taksim Square and a 10 min walk from the shuttle bus to Istanbul airport, the street wasn't loud and overcrowded as it was with other places I came across. The staff, especially Elchin was quite friendly and professional.
I would say it is the most comfortable place among the places I have stayed in Istanbul. It is very close to Taksim square, from there it is convenient to go anywhere. The hotel managers are very caring, always interested and help in whatever you need.
The hotel has abundant opulence and charm that is unique among 5 star hotels in Istanbul. It ha a commanding location at a hill top affluent area and close to shops and restaurants. The corner Hemingway suite provides ultra comfort and luxury
The hotel is located directly to taksim Square which made it easy for me to move from and within.the metro was so approach to visit various and almost all the beautiful and historical places in Istanbul.
